Most Popular Wedding Flowers of 2020

When picking your wedding flowers it can be overwhelming, to say the least! There are so many different types of flowers and colors to choose from. Your first step should be finding an amazing florist that can help guide you and is familiar with what pairs well with what. This will help ease your mind and take a lot of the pressure off you.

Next, check out our list of wedding flowers we see time and time again make their way onto the wedding aisle and into the reception room.

Roses

If you’re from Portland you, of course, know we are known for being the city of roses so this is a staple in many portland weddings here at the Belle. There are many many varieties of roses to choose from. The more fuller roses are perfect for your showstopper flower (the main flower that pops in your bouquet). The smaller ones like spray roses are great for accents in your bouquet. If you get the chance and live in portland go check out the portland rose gardens to see a huge variety of roses that may inspire you.

Hydrangea

The hydrangea is very popular in the blue and white colors but there are many other colors to choose from. These can be used in bouquets, arraignments, or even on your wedding cake. These flowers tend to be a love or hate flower so you decide how it fits best into your wedding.

Tulips

Similar to roses there are different types of tulips. There are fringed tulips (have fringe on the tips of their pedals), double tulips (have twice as many pedals making them look fuller), Rembrandt tulips (have beautiful red streaks running down their pedals) and many more. Tulips are also great for a budget.

Dahlia

These very popular flowers are also very large making them the perfect focal flower. With many colors and types to choose from making your wedding bouquet stunning. These also are another great flower that gets an amazing bang for your buck.

We know how overwhelming choosing wedding flowers can be and these are some of the most popular we have seen here at the belle. If you are in need of a florist check out these preferred vendors below. We can’t wait to see those beautiful flowers on your special day.
